I've never eaten raw flour, at least not since I was a boy and licked out the mixing bowl when Mom or Grandma was making bread.
Does e coli survive typical baking or frying?

The dates match my near death experience with infected bread.
Never been that sick.

From earlier recall speculation, the FDA was protecting morons from eating raw [cookie] dough.
That is, the E.coli shouldn't be a problem in cooked products.
Conspiracy of bio-warfare testing? GM isn't coming clean about what's the real contamination?

How does E.Coli even get into flour?

In the early 1990s a second wave of immigrants from Somalia and Bosnia came to Kansas City. The Somali community settled in Northeast Kansas City and established Masjid Al-Huda. During that time period, Masjid Omar had to move to a small adjacent location, creating need for another Islamic Center, Al-Inshirah, which was opened at 3664 Troost Ave. Kansas City, Missouri.
With the arrival and expansion of several national and international corporations in Overland Park, the Muslim population in Kansas City grew rapidly during the late 1990s. Two more Islamic Centers were established: The Islamic Center of Johnson County Islamic Center of Kansas at 14750 West 143 Street Olathe, Kansas.

After kneading or handling raw dough, how careful are you about what you touch?
I have to admit, I’m pretty casual with dough. I can be downright paranoid after handling raw meat, but flour and dough? Not so much.
And yes, some of us even nibble it on purpose. Raw cookie dough or brownie batter are among life’s pleasures. Well worth the risk!

Just wonderin what FR folks think about irradiation? Decades ago, it was on the radar, but people pitched a fit until it was dropped. With recalls and Chipotle trying to kill us, I have to wonder if this will be brought back again. Supposedly science says there is no radiation left on the food after it's disinfected. With illegals crapping in the lettuce, strawberries, and most other veggie crops, I just don't think you can wash most things that clean. Lettuce being the worst.
Of course the difficulties Chipotle is having looks like sabotage to me. Why only them and not other stores that order the same food?
