A consulting firm run by Ted Cruz's former campaign manager is actively working to defeat a House Freedom Caucus member who is up for reelection despite strong claims to the contrary, a conservative consultant who previously worked for the firm claims.
"It's total bull----," consultant Noel Fritsch told Business Insider of Jeff Roe's claims that his firm, Axiom Strategies, was not involved in efforts to oust Rep. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas from office.
In 2014, Axiom Strategies, which Roe founded and owns, worked with a super PAC to spend more than $230,000 against Huelskamp, according to Federal Election Commission documents.
But when Cruz was trying to court Huelskamp for a 2016 endorsement during Cruz's presidential campaign, Roe and his group insisted they would lay off. Cruz has also endorsed Huelskamp in his reelection bid.

I don’t think there is a future for him in elected office in Texas as a Dem...to do that he would have to adhere to the 24/7 abortion on demand party central theme. Not very popular in Tx especially for a turn coat i.e. Jeffords jumped in a liberal state.
Cruz effectively put his entire political career on double 00 and one roll of the wheel. It came up something else. IMO he is politically dead in the senate even if reelected. Best he can do now is keep his vindictiveness up and going against Trump both before and after the election. If Trump loses and Hitlery wins, he will forever be known as the ass he is and not be able to mount a GOP campaign outside of a few states IMO. Bush and Gaysick are in the same boat as he is.
Brutus never became Caesar and this asshat is not going to become president in the US either. I think we should not dwell on him too much now, we have an election to win as regardless of what happens to him, the country is at stake.

Like many, I am sad to say I ever supported Ted Cruz. He sure had a lot of us fooled. Once I dug alittle deeper I became disillusioned with the “superhero” conservative Cruz persona.
He ran a less than honest presidential campaign. Sided with BLM and releasing tax returns. Both of which, should have little to do with electing a republican nominee. He surrounded himself with rinos and establishment. Damn, he went to the border to pass out welcome gifts. But, what really got me, was his claims of halting amnesty. He did not stop amnesty with the “poison pill” amendment. That bill died for one reason only - BRAT!! If Cantor wasn’t booted out of office, the bill would have passed. Cruz did nothing to stop it as he claims...if fact, he moved it forward. It pisses me off to think we were that close to millions becoming citizens. I see little difference between him and little George P or any other Bush for that matter.
It pays to check out “Ted Cruz news”, on Google, every little while.
He still sits on millions from his campaign for prez, and he is already soliciting more money for his re-election campaign in TEXAS.
He is actively courting the TEXAS Republican Party, doubtless doing some clean up and damage control and there is not yet a murmer about a challenger, or a PAC to support one against him.
Cruz must be watched and primaried.
The pastoral zealots own the TEXAS R party, and until Cruz, that has been a good thing, but Cruz’ Bible beating and flogging of the Constitution and wrapping in the flag have totally obscured from TEXAS voters his globalist pals, his donors, their blasted agenda, and his real senate record.
Cruz is going back to the drawing board, to first rehabilitate his image inside the TEXAS party apparatus and in his own home state among conservative forces.
There is no way in hell this man can rehabilitate his image with me, frankly.
And even after all that's happened, there are still watchmen on the wall who see nothing out of the ordinary.
In Philly going over his prepared speech.
I hear you.
I eagerly await and will be vigilent for a PAC forming to kick this guy to the curb!
We need a Republican challenger. Who, really, could be any worse?
Will you be happy to have someone who lies, votes TPA and Coker and has absolute the worst choice of associates in a position of power? Roe and Neil Bush are just two of Cruz associates.. Whether Cruz knows what Roe is doing now is less important than the fact that he worked with them knowing what they are capable of and what they have done in the past. Cruz has no discernment in associates. America really escaped a mess!
Quit your crying and realize that Cruz is the enemy as much as Hillary is. He proved it beyond the shadow of a doubt last week.
The worst that could happen with George P would be ‘meet the new boss; same as the old boss’ with his staff. Not a bit different in any other way.
For all the high minded ideals Trump supporters rally around and against Cruz who supposedly possesses none of such ideals, I have a question. If it bothers you so much who you say Cruz hired or worked with-RINOS you say- how do you explain the RINOS working with Trump like Manafort? I really hope for Trump to do well for America. I will vote for him but it remains to be seen how he will govern.
Oh PLEASE.
Wednesday night, Teddy proved that his political ambitions were more important to him than the lives and liberty of all Americans, you and me included.
Teddy is infectious human waste, and no amount of whiny concern trolling about Trump will change that.
It’s amazing at your double standard. One candidate getting RINO help is terrible but another getting RINO help is, well, let’s dump on the first guy and ignore any inconvenient facts. I am hopeful for Trump but you people are acting like a cult and have been from day 1.
“Maybe Lyin Ted is working on switching parties”
Or a massive write-in campaign. He has three months.
I doubt he could get written in for dog catcher!!
His name is Mud, hope he spells it correctly....or the votes won’t count. Ha!
I can only guess that was because there were no dependent children involved. She was 62 and he was 57 at the time of the divorce.
