For some reason the reporter didn't seem to pick up on her comment.

I voted for Paul Simon in the ‘88 Dem Primary. But by ‘92, I was firmly on the right.
Ironically, Trump has more in common with Simon than Obama or Clinton. His liberalism was of the old, plainspoken New Deal variety, not the deceptive and elitist modern incarnation.
Our country is now so corrupt that both conventions threatened to dissolve in tatters. Trump supporters held theirs together and the people won. I wonder what will happen in Philly.
You obviously don’t know how conventions used to be, this is tame.

I’ve been watching since the first one on TV. They were nothing compared with this. Or maybe you mean pre-TV.
My point was the government corruption that guarantees this kind of chaos at a convention. At this stage, anyway. We never had the outright lies broadcast worldwide, the bribery, the fraud, the murder.
Trump was right: They tried to rig his primary and convention, and failed. They may have failed this week too, and we will see Bernie claim his rightful place.

The difference between Bernie and Hillary boils down to this: Bernie Sanders is foolish and misguided on almost every issue. He's not an evil or corrupt person, he's just wrong most of the time.
In contrast, Hillary Clinton is a pathological liar and a political opportunist with no core principles other than her own ambition.
I don't have any personal ill-will towards a foolish but basically honest person. I have plenty of hatred to spare for manipulative crooks, however.

It is a much shorter step than people imagine from Bernie supporter to executioner in the killing fields.
This is great news, and I look forward to further revelations of this type. I have a feeling a good portion of Sanders voters will stay home in November, and justifiably so. They probably feel the same way as we would have felt if the RNC got its way and managed to rig the primaries for Jeb as effectively as the DNC rigged things for Hillary.

WRT the RNC, that was just the evilstream misleadia trying to create a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Remember the black supremacists crying about their low turnout? The danger turns out to have been illusory.

The DNC may be quite the place this week to "see how not to hold a convention"...
However, I have concern that this may cause problems for other issues with all the Wikileaks and talk about Hillary/Wasserman corruption...
