You have it right. This is not a capitulation in Trump’s favor, it is an attempt to link Trump with Russia in favor of Hillary.
BTW, I agree with Savage that Russia is likely to be our ally in the war with Islamic Terror. And it will also take Trump to be the President for this to happen.

Yes Erickson is still saying that Trump getting elected would be dangerous because Russia is intervening in the election. He is striving to get back some credibility but its not working. I don’t think Rush has let him sub again since he disinvited Trump to his little Redstate forum and said he wouldn’t let his wife and daughters in the same room as Trump. He’s a little scumbag.
