Opening position in a negotiation. Now it’s up to Cruz and Kasich to counter offer. Cruz is unlikely to do so, he seems to want to be a martyr in this. Kasich may come to the table though. Something like “I won’t openly endorse but I will work to get the Ohio GOP mobilized for you IF you don’t do this PAC.” Time will tell.
Those two boneheads might actually have to work for a living.

People are outraged over what Ted did, and to a degree Kasich. Trump deserves to respond after Ted added those unapproved lines in his speech. Trump was kind enough to invite him.

The focus needs to be on Hillary, not defeated primary opponents.

He has only one job now; win the Presidency.
Cruz is dead politically. He will draw a well-funded primary opponent in the 2018 Texas Republican Senatorial Primary and lose badly.
Kasich? His time has come and gone.
Trump’s only job at this point is to convenience the 8-12% of swing voters he needs for a decisive victory over Hilary that he is Presidential and in their best interest. His job is not now to win Conservatives, just as Hilary’s post-convention job is not try to win over liberals. They both need those swing voters.
Trump has to stop crowing over his primary victories and forget about any Republican “enemies.”
All that counts now is November, and the “must win” then. The Donald must appear as a reasonable, kind, leadership-focused man. The “Last Angry Man” worked fine for the primaries, but it now must change.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m a Trump supporter. I just know the Last Angry Man act isn’t going to bring him the swing voters he needs to win the Presidency.
Mr. Trump,
Stop wasting energy on the defeated. Beat Hillary. You are no longer running against Sen. Cruz. Stop thinking about him. You are now running against a Marxist liar with unlimited resources. Focus. We (you and the grass roots) have a country to save. Please. We cannot survive Hillary. FOCUS on Hillary.
