Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein once again welcomed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) into her party, suggesting in a series of tweets that he could leave the party that “betrayed” him.
“If @BernieSanders repudiates the Democratic Party that betrayed him, I'd welcome him into @GreenPartyUS to continue the revolution,” Stein posted on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
Stein’s comments come in the wake of a massive leak of emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) this weekend that revealed party officials' plans to undermine Sanders's presidential campaign.
In one such email, the DNC press secretary discussed planting a narrative to the press that Sanders’s “campaign was a mess.”
In another, a top DNC official appeared to suggest a plan to question Sanders’s faith and ask if he was actually an atheist.
"Don't let establishment bully you into supporting corporate warmongers," Stein posted in another tweet.

Or just ruin it for Hillary and the DNC. Get even. Your honor is at stake. You can beat Hillary and Trump. Sure you can. The Green vote is Huge. Go for it.
Bernie is a wuss and he isn’t going to do anything. He had no clue how to close the deal when he started getting attention.

He only recently joined the party. I think he was in on the scam. It was always going to be Clinton. It didn’t matter. Dem voters were snookered. They’re stuck with her.

Look, Sanders is very much a Western-type of socialist - he talks the talk, but there’s no way he would ever actually walk the walk himself - personal sacrifice is something for you, not him. As much as the DNC has stabbed him in the back, he knows he can’t beat them and if he plays ball they’ll help him hold on to his Senate seat.
My read of Bernie is that bribes would not work with him—but threats, particularly directed at his family, would work.
I think Hillary threatened to kill all of them if he did not play ball.
That is why he is so determined to stay “on message”.
After hearing him this morning, he is bought and paid for. He simply wanted attention that he has never received. The last thing he will do is blow up the democratic party. All democrats eventually fall in line.
Didn’t he already leave? I thought he ran for Senate as an independent or socialist.
Are they available for parties?
Maybe not. I predict hillary will not be the dem candidate. been saying it to friends for quite a while. Most probably she will have a health problem as a cover.
It appears that Bernie will continue to support Hillary. If he was bought out to keep him happy, then doesn’t that go against everything he stands for? Will his supporters feel the same way.
Bernie has been handsomely paid by the Clinton Foundation.
If he wants to live, he’ll do what he’s told.
He should—but he will not. He has more morals than a Ted Cruz He will be loyal to the master who kicked him. He’s like an old dog and lick the hand of his abuser. Hillary might toss him a bone at some point. A job in the government? A judgeship? A place in the Hillary Cabinet?
Without Sanders there would have been no debates, no election night coverage, etc just Hillary standing around looking entitled. This way she “fought” for and “earned” the nomination.
