Leftists promised rage at the 2016 Republican National Convention and failed to deliver. The anarchists and Black Lives Matter radicals tried their hardest and simply couldn’t get anyone to show up to participate in their efforts to attack Republicans and treat police officers badly. The attempt to turn the 2016 convention into a warzone–as their movement had done at the 2008 convention–simply failed. The Cleveland anarchists and radical leftists failed and simply sucked at organizing. This year’s fireworks from the “revolutionaries” proved their movement to be even more impotent than did their failures in 2012 at the Tampa convention. ....

i don’t believe this for one second.
i think what really happened is that the anarchist hoards didn’t show up because the Hillarists/Obammunists made sure that the travel funding was yanked for their violent thugs because they finally realized the optics of what’s been going is extremely detrimental in the eyes of most voters and that having violent far-leftists create thuggish chaos in Cleveland could help cement a Trump victory.
I've been there in the Summer, it was nice. They have a great lake there.
Demonstrators pretending to be on the opposite side are probably not willing to go to jail in order to protect their deception.

Will shrill leftist harpies shout down a speaker or two? Will rioters for (pick the cause) face off with Philly cops? Will Feel-the-Berners constantly disrupt the proceedings? Kaine (used to be Governor here in VA) is really unappealing to me. He tends to look ‘frumpy’ and like he slept in his clothes - maybe this is how he pulls off his ‘casual’ look or something .... and that’s before we get into his personal/political positions on anything. Hilly needed, most of all, somebody who would not upstage her AND Bill - Timmy was Bill’s first choice. Neither wanted an “attractive” VP candidate who could use this VP slot to springboard their own national careers ...... whitehouseboy Kaine will follow along in Hilly/Bill’s shadow, say “yes ma’am” and ask her if she’d like a pillow for her feet & if Bill would like another cigar.

Protests and political ground games are interesting by their effectiveness or ineffectiveness. Atlanta in 2014 Dem Nunn had a highly visible, well funded, well organized ground game. I predicted she would lose in a close race to Republican Perdue.
My co-workers and neighbors, mostly Black working class and dependable Dem voters, in 2010 told me they were angry that their health insurance premiums went up, their deductibles went up, their coverage went down.
They said they would not vote for Nunn ‘to teach those politicians a lesson.’ I didn’t believe them. But the election results showed that the Dems massive GOTV effort could not overcome voters personal experience. Perdue won and it wasn’t even close.
In IL I had the same experience. Sometimes my ground game was extremely effective because the candidate or issue was with me, or at least neutral. But when the establishment put up an anti-Hispanic Republican for governor, I couldn’t get anyone to vote for him.
The same with the 6os and 70s protests I was in. Success of the protest depended on the issue and personalized enemy as well as the organizing effort.
Well harumph! I rise in solidarity with the leftists and urge them to follow the advice of Lynch and don’t get discouraged. Ok, so it didn’t work out so well at the RNC. There’s still hope, and they can spend a week at Bernie’s in genuine heartfelt violent assaults, arson, looting, and throwing pee at each other. Lean forward my fellow Americans, fight the good fight!
