President Barack Obama vetoed a bill Friday that would cap the taxpayer-funded expense accounts of former presidents.
Obama said he supports the bills goal, but he sent the measure back to Congress because it would immediately end salaries and benefits to staffers carrying out the official duties of former presidents. He says the measure doesnt provide enough time for these employees to be moved to another payroll.
Obama says the bill would also interfere with the Secret Services ability to protect ex-presidents.

All of these imperial PIGS are multimillionaires in their own right.

“One book deal sets him up for life”
And bozo can still be on the course while Ayers writes it!
Whoopee do. Congress knew he would veto it. Smoke and mirrors.
What exactly are the duties of former presidents?
Try as I might I can not think of a single one. Certainly the Constitution does not describe any.
Why does an ex-president need a staff and if he decides he needs one why shouldnt he pay for it himself?
Every former president should get zilch expenses. Harry Truman drove his wife home to Missouri.
Nothing but a freeloader.
More of obama’s blatant, in-your-face, corruption.
And now they want Hillary, who’d make obama look like a piker.
the measure doesnt provide enough time for these employees to be moved to another payroll.
Well, it’s not like they didn’t have prior notice...
President Trump can sign it in January.
How many weeks did those Carrier Employees have to move to another Payroll?
Government is nothing but in your face Corruption.
