Shots have been fired in a Munich shopping centre and a major police operation is under way German media is reporting.
Reports say the area round the shopping centre in the district of Moosach has been sealed off, but details of the incident are sketchy.
The security forces have been on alert after a migrant stabbed five people on a train in Bavaria on Monday.
The authorities had warned of the danger of further attacks.

Pictures emerge of ‘arrests’ in Munich city centre
Photographs have emerged of men being arrested in Munich city centre after the shooting.
Police are yet to confirm any one has been detained but the pictures clear show people being led away in handcuffs.
Officers appeared to arrest three men, whose identities and roles were not yet confirmed, near Marienplatz square - where there was an earlier false alarm of a second shooting.
Absolutely, the man on the balcony is not holding back on his choice of words to the shooter and rightfully so.
I’m German and listened to the recording and I’m familiar with the ‘Kanacke’ word.
Just hope we get some honest answers to this but I highly doubt it!
Just this morning I talked to my SIL in Germany and she told me about the self defense classes she’s going to. They teach them how to defend yourself with a pen! Yes, a pen! Even pepper spray is a no, no.... You can only use it if you get attacked by an animal! I thank God every day that I’m out of this country.
