This was entirely predictable last night. These are the posts I made to the convention thread right after Trump’s speech.

I see two memes that the Mainstream Media will present tomorrow morning.

• The first meme will be presented by Whoopi Goldberg: “When he says ‘law and order,’ it’s just code words for racism.”
• The second meme will be presented by Mika Brzezinski: “He looked and sounded like Mussolini. Even if you hate Hillary, you have to vote for her because if you don’t, we’ll become Nazi Germany.” (Mussolini didn’t preside over Nazi Germany, but she doesn’t know that.)

Even though the speech is just ending, the Washington Post has just characterized it as a “dark speech.” It’s begun, right on schedule.

”Dark.” “Dystopian.” “Divisive.” Right on schedule. Check Whoopi, Mika and Hillary tomorrow. Also the New York Times and the Washington Post. Marching orders have been issued.

I expect Hillary to announce that she will not debate “a fascist and a man so far outside the political mainstream.”
