Why are blacks the ones who need to take the extra precautions and not the police? And since the victim was down on the ground, hands empty and raised, alternately trying to keep his patient calm AND tell the police officer who he was and why he was there, exactly what precaution did he fail to take?
I am not going to argue this with you. I have a relative that is black. Young. Doesn’t look like a thug. Speaks well. Dresses well. But we have had a frank discussion about this and I have told him that no matter how rightly or wrongly he feels about it..he must do everything possible to alleviate any fear a cop might have if he is stopped . Especially since he has a license to conceal a gun and carries it everywhere.
The media is really going to have a field day with this one and the BLM crowd will “ride this horse” as long and as loud as they can. “Police Brutality”, “Hands up, Don’t Shoot”, etc...
