David Dewhurst again? He won’t have to spend so much this time against Cruz like last election as Cruz did himself in. This is normally a safe Republican seat but Cruz might have thrown it into play for the dems to take.

Because of Cruz, I think Texas is now in play for the democrats. Yes, the whole state. Alright! Maybe a bit histrionic, but Cruz's political career is over.

If I recall correctly the strike against Dewhurst was that he was mainstream, establishment GOP and not all that conservative. Surely there is someone in Texas better than that?
