Im ashamed that I voted for Ted Cruz in the Massachusetts Republican Primary.
I thought he was a man of integrity. Last night he proved -- beyond a shadow of a doubt -- that he isnt. He made a solemn pledge to support the Republican nominee. And he broke that crucial promise.
I thought he was a patriot. Last night, he proved he isnt. However bitter and angry he is at Donald Trump, he knows that Trump is the only person standing between Hillary Clinton (a liar, a fraud, a thief and a traitor) and the presidency. And yet after meticulously laying out the case against another 4 to 8 years of leftist tyranny -- he refused to endorse the one man who can put an end to our long national nightmare.
Cruz wasnt driven by principle, but by ego. He cant accept the fact that the party chose Trump over him.
Ted Cruz made the worst mistake of his political career. Millions of us will never forget or forgive his betrayal. He will never be his partys nominee for president. He will never hold the highest office in the land.
Ted Cruz is a very small man.
I believe this is what's commonly referred to as a:
Outstanding. ;)
Thank you :)
You’ve been on a roll, Mark!
Does anyone have video of Heidi being escorted out? I’d love to see it.
We’re sick of having to dissect every word & every sentence
that politicians speak & still not being able to TRUST A
WORD that spews out of their pieholes!
The author is very late to the party, many of us realized Ted Cruz is a phony, fraud, lying scumbag months ago.
1. Anyone whoever thought Ted Cruz was a patriot is completely delusional... he has always been about Ted Cruz and that is as far as his interest lies.
2. Why would anyone be surprised at what Ted Cruz did last night? This is exactly what he had planned all along. Unfortunately for Ted, it backfired because the Trump Campaign (which is full of class) let him go ahead and put the nail in his own coffin - they did not do it for him. Once again we see how Ted’s incredible ego gets him in trouble... he was not intuitive enough to realize that Trump was not going to let it go off the way Ted wanted. Instead, Trump captured the moment beautifully, with all the skill of a Samurai Swordsman.
3. The good news is we will now most likely never have to hear from or about Ted Cruz again. He just crushed any political aspirations he had and for that I am grateful! Thank you lyin cryin Ted! Now go away and stay away, loser.
I’m not “new to politics” (note my 1998 sign up date). LOL!
That pledge was actually created out of fear that Trump might run as a 3rd party candidate if he didn’t win as a Republican.
It was strictly an anti-Trump move, and it just blew up in Cruz’s face!
Im ashamed that I voted for Ted Cruz in the Texas Republican Primary.
I was just pointing out what someone else said. I didn’t “endorse” that opinion!
Gimme some of that popcorn!
I voted for Cruz also, based on his originalist rhetoric and his intellect. I didn’t particularly care if he was abrasive.
But last night just tore it for me. If that was to be his speech to launch 2020, it was not that good.
He and the others made solemn promises on TV in front of Meagan Kelly and everyone! And his disdainful refusal to endorse Trump was horrible.
That was too much suckage for me. Way to keep it classy, Ted....NOT!
Amen to that!
Remember that when the pledges were signed, it was intended as a way to keep Trump from running 3rd party and to force him to get behind the eventual nominee. All the smarty-pants in the media and Republican establishment were smug in their assurance that Trump had no chance of winning the nomination. They wanted to keep Trump from taking his followers third party.
Whoops. My bad, then. Sorry, FRiend.
Gimme some of that popcorn!
It'll all go straight to your hips, ultimately. Just see if it doesn't. ;)
I was bothered that Mark Levin posted this and said that Reagan didn’t endorse Ford in 1976, but Reagan is talking about unity and winning. He showed grace, wisdom, and humility all traits that Cruz was lacking. I was very disappointed in Cruz, I did vote for him in the primary and I was hopeful he would speak to unite because we are in a much more precarious time than 40 years ago. Last night my hope turned to despair because I fear what is ahead for my children and future grandchildren. He used the time he should have been uniting selfishly. I never thought there would be a time when I respected Christie more than Cruz.
I don’t know why people are surprised at this.
I expected it from the louse.
Then he played every dirty trick he could use
First too cute by half teaming with Kacish to stop Trump get enough delegates
Naming Carly Fiorino as VP because HE HAD PROBLEMS with women voters.
Cruz never could beat Hillary he could not win above the Mason Dixon line and some States out West.
Blamed Trump for Chicago riots
Never denounced his 501C for trashing Melanie Trump picture.
Hell he is a Canadian and not even able to for President
When your former boss gives you an endorsement , GW Bush said Ted Cruz is a snake and he hated him more than any other Candidate in Colorado
I live in Texas and I will never vote for him again.
>I dont know why people are surprised at this.
>I expected it from the louse.
I’m disappointed. He would have been a great tool against Hillary.
Thank goodness Trump won the primary. I hope that marks the end of Cruz’ political career.
Moving on, did Glen Beck have a panic attack last night or did he endorse Cruz’ drivel wholeheartedly?.... Oh wait, that’s right, no one cares Beck!
