Ted Cruz did not generate or disseminate this ad. To say he did is an outright lie.

OTOH, Ted Cruz did PERSONALLY smear Trump supporters on more than one occasion. He has NEVER apologized for that.

The state I'm sure is very beautiful, it's the citizens that keep voting for liberal politicians that are destroying our America. The whole damn Northeast...the West coast, upper Midwest.

Thanks. As I said, I referenced others who said it was a good 'sounding' speech. From what I read later, it was just full of platitudes and BS, so it was much like a Hillary speech.

I didn't, haven't, and won't listen to the whole speech. So my opinion of it is not worth much.

The speech that Cruz provided and was loaded into the teleprompters had the phrase “we must support the Trump-Pence ticket.”

I don't believe that is true.

The phrase you are referring to (which has a thread where the teleprompter output is shown containing that phrase) was on the teleprompter during NEWT GINGRICH'S speech.

That means one of two things. Either they were assured that Cruz would endorse Trump, or they were trying to leave him no option but to endorse without looking like a backstabbing liar.

He simply could have said that despite some differences between himself and Trump, that the nation must unite behind the Republican Candidate (Trump), and that he therefore was endorsing Trump.
