“its apparent the two shared more than politics.”
Yup....the woman went off the rails on national television...she clearly lost control of her emotions and for a professional communications director, she sounded more like a hurt wife.
I was a Cruz fan until just a few hours ago. I thought for sure he’d rise up and help unite the party. Completely disappointed and disillusioned. I can’t in good conscience support him any longer.
THAT guy is his father, the preacher.
He was not even considered by the electoral votes.Turn off the press.Nice that he showed up.
Very disappointed, yeah, he really burnt his bridges, he shouldn’t have even been on that stage, his own desires matter more to him and he wants them all right now,
Then Luntz just committed credibility-suicide.
The arena was filled with anger at Cruz.
Please try to come around less.
Trump, via Twitter: Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn't honor the pledge! I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!
Honey? I thought it was cheetos dust. Lol
Phil Rizzuto!
Trump is right.
Ted Cruz is “no big deal!”
Nobody will forget this.
So CNN was right last night. The speech was actually good at first, the crowd was involved, and he ALMOST had me believing that MAYBE, just MAYBE, he was going to endorse... Then he told people to vote their conscience. The eruption from the delegates (especially the fine folks in the NY delegation) was a beauty to watch. Ted even sniveled at the NY delegation and plugged on. Then Trump came out and bombed the end of Cruz’s speech just like his plane interrupted Cruz’s speech today. No one saw him even slink off the stage. WTG, Ted. You commit political suicide. No one besides your deluded Amanda Carpenter cult will vote for you for POTUS. Even Ana Navarro was defending Trump, and she hates him.
No. Ted blew it.
He is finished. Back-stabbing piece of dirt.
Ted blew it. Nationally. Big time. He screwed up. Big.
” If Trump wins, he has a very powerful enemy. If Trump loses, he will be partially blamed.”
Meanwhile, the GOP-E will continue to hate him, so he’ll have no allies anywhere. He could have survived not attending the convention, but not getting up and refusing to endorse the nominee.
Thats a good point.
Some commentators have observed that Republican voters are motivated by an irrational anger for the GOP Congress compromising with Obama too much, and thats why they rejected the traditional GOP candidates.
This doesnt make sense to me. The uncompromising GOP candidate was Cruz, not Trump. Trump was the explicitly non ideological candidate - he presented himself as a non ideological (conservative leaning) deal maker.
The angry uncompromising voters somehow rejected the uncompromising GOP candidate, Cruz.
I heard Ted Baxter is moving on from Fox. You should apply. You would fit right in with what is LEFT.
Life-long Texan here, 52 yrs old. Proud to say I smelled Ted Cruz as a dirty rat from Day 1 and have NEVER cast a vote for this turd.
No more of these weak, ineffectual two-weeks-and-abra-kadabra-you're-back! temporary suspensions, either. Enough's enough.
