I’ve a type 2 son 8 yrs, and he says the 3, 90 days glucose readings are BS. Her not running a A1C1 or Keytone, no education, no meter and the wrong to strong diabetes drug could have killed me. Had to have a fit to get a meter and 1 test strip per day. He test 4 times a day. I see an ENDO for my thyroid, she should have referred me to him, instead of trying to treat what is not in her field of knowledge. My fingers are sore, all she wrote was Medicare/Tricare Life approved meter, and they will only give the one that test on the fingers if not specified Free Style. But 1 test strip per day is criminal and not very helpful. Sugar is not high in the morning sans the Vit C. That is like drinking a large glass of OJ and that will send your glucose readings up, OJ is one of the things diabetics who let their sugar get to low use to bring it back up.
