I don’t remember him being at any TPX tea parties.

There were a few small tours/events I didn’t attend, but I am sure Trump was not at any of them.

Maybe another tea party group, but I never heard of Trump appearing.

I imagine I would have known, and FR also, if it happened.

I don’t imagine the caller mentioned where it was though huh?

TPX has been pretty quiet during this voting cycle, but their parent PAC, run by a guy that quashed Free Republic member (me) from speaking on the last 2 or so TPX tours, is active in promoting down ballot conservatives.

Heavily Ted Cruz, probably anti-Trump also.

The caller said he had interviewed Trump. Maybe Alabama or Arkansaw
He mentioned he was surprised to see him there. Just them I lost signal.

You might be able to find it in transcripts

“I don’t remember him being at any TPX tea parties.”

WHY on earth would Trump attend a TEA PARTY Express event? They have ALWAYS been pro amnesty/anti enforcement, pro ROTTEN trade deals like TPP...all the big honchos of TPX are TRAITorous LOUTS just like SAL RUSSO!

When is someone besides me going to call out TPX for what they are!? Don’t bother to answer, Syncro, you’re just another apologist for that selfserving bunch of LOBBYISTS, but I see you are STILL trying to have it both ways.

They endorsed RUBIO for GAWD sakes!

Is the Tea Party Express Just a Fundraising Scam?
Tom Dougherty / August 11, 2014
$9.5 million raised, at a cost of $8 million, with less than $400,000 going to candidates.
What would you consider a charity that raised almost $10 million, but actually used less than 5% of that total on its mission and programs? By every reasonable definition, you’d have to consider it woefully ineffective, at best, a fraud, at worst.
Consider then that the Tea Party Express has raised just over $9.5 million between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014, but has spent barely $380,000 directly, or indirectly, to benefit the candidates they support. Also, as they spent more than they received, their cash-on-hand decreased by almost $350,000; from $848,000 on January 1, 2013 to $498,000 on June 30, 2014.
The direct costs for raising that $9.5 million were more than $8 million, or 85% of total receipts, with more than $3.6 million paid out to Tea Party Express founder, Sal Russo’s consulting firm Russo, Marsh and Associates

“People are in this country a long time and they are not legal. We have to get them legal in some way in a process that gets people legal that are here…We should do it because it’s the right thing. We need to reform immigration because we need a system that works,” Russo said.
