You’re right he talked about Donald Trump but never said the word “endorsed”!
Even worse, he spoke up for seeing GOP principles prevailing in November without naming Trump—leaving open the idea that he could back, say, the former GOP guvs on the Libertarian ticket. It took some contortion to avoid simply saying that a vote for Trump is key.
One sentence....One lousy sentence so far out of one of the longest speeches ever.
