One possibility is her thoughts just happened to be similar. These are typical platitudes you would hear in a speech. However, it is very similar. Second possibility is I wonder if she looked to past first lady speeches for inspiration. Some words have been changed, and it's not exactly alike. If she used it for inspiration, is it enough to call it plagiarism? The third possibility is (she did have some help, although she said not much), a speechwriter who helped her screwed up and/or deliberately sabotaged her.

Plagiarism? LOL. I don’t believe convention speeches are copyrighted.
Many of those lines are traditional platitudes, traditionally stated in the same order.
Maybe they both used the same time earlier source and Michelle’s wasn’t original either.
