I saw John McCain walk into a rally in Seattle with the same Rocky music playing. It is a great way to portray a candidate as a fighter for the people.

I can imagine Hillary after seeing this spectacle, will try to out-Trump Trump. Imagine der Hildebeast in a flourescent pink pant suit, with the pant legs slit up to the knees to reveal her cankles walking on stage. There will be the fog machine giving us the look of her walking through the clouds. Perhaps a broom between her legs could add to the effect of floating through the air. As she enters, twenty oiled up hard bodied men in loincloths will dance, bark like dogs and grope her. Imagine the shock as der Hildebeast in that moment, falls flat on her face with the broom stick stuck where the sun does not shine. Just imagine! LOL!

It always helps if it really happened.
Trump’s attitude is, “Hey, things have changed. Why pretend otherwise? I’m just being honest about it.” That goes for his ‘tone’, and it goes for how he has organized this convention. With his tone, Trump acknowledges that the public discourse has already deteriorated beyond anything that can be considered fair, and honest, so why not hit your opponents hard and direct? There’s no more point in being polite towards your opponent when he has abandoned all honor and fairness.
Same with the convention. The conventions of yesteryear, in which the nominee was actually chosen at the convention, are over. They’ve become self-promoting spectacles. So why pretend otherwise with boring pretentious speeches? If the convention is ultimately showbiz, might as well make the most of it.
This seems about her style. There certainly is an arguement to be made that Canckles was hatched.
