we started, culturally, promoting stupid stuff like women soldiers and backtalking princesses and people persecuted for being “different” (wink wink homosexual) and animals that were actually noble souls -
and you know it really does affect peoples values, growing up?
Not having “bad guys,” but having “good guys” romanticized for being really anti-social.
our movies used to, in the main, celebrate real virtues like selflessness, bravery, humility, honesty. . .
that’s gotten pretty twisted. even the “cleanest” movies at least imply people fornicating as though that is pure love, and bow at the altar of various politically correct themes.

As I sometimes like to contrarianly point out, we might be more honest now than then, if the amount of actual dedication to the Lord (not mere appearance) is the same.
Ungodliness that looks like ungodliness is more honest than a form of religion that denies its power.
