BALTIMORE (AP) — The Latest on a barricade situation in Baltimore (all times local):
2 p.m.
Baltimore Police say a 7-year-old is among those being held hostage at a Burger King restaurant.
Police spokesman T.J. Smith said in a news conference Sunday that “about four” people are in the restaurant with an armed suspect who fled from police.
Smith said the suspect is wanted on a rape charge and led police on a vehicle chase earlier Sunday before crashing into another vehicle and then fleeing by foot into the Burger King in Southwest Baltimore. Smith said the driver of the other car is being treated for minor injuries.
SWAT team and negotiators are at the scene and police are asking the public to avoid the area.

I’m more and more cnvinced that the agitators are a very small part of the black population.
I was just at Walmart about 35 miles northeast of Baltimore. The clientele was a good break between black and white. The store was quite busy and everyone was pleasant and polite.
That’s my experience nearly everywhere.
we used to go to see the Orioles play but have not in years.

Outside of Baltimore, the population becomes much more cosmopolitan. It’s within the beltway that we have the most serious problems.
Never left the airport, but have always had a soft spot for it.....and for The Orioles.

Our dear Democrats did their best to assure us that the freedmen would ever remain a festering sore on the body politic, by systematically robbing them of their dignity.
I am a volunteer church pianist who almost got a gig in a Baltimore “Celebration Church” — but it was far enough away from where I was living, and I found something much closer to where I was at the time (Hagerstown MD) that I did not get involved after all. It was an integrated congregation, best I was able to see.
The wild contingent, however small or large it is, seems to be running roughshod over the rest, however. Enough resolve to address it sternly will be needed to get lasting results.
True, the democrats have dehumanized blacks and prevented them from assimilating and getting with the program.
The solution is to stop paying them to breed and cut off all financial support, their number should decrease by about 2% per decade after that.
A manageable and viable 5% of the total US population would remain after about 40 years, fully integrated and contributing to the nation.
They were given that option when the US of A, under Monroe, created Liberia, in West Africa. Capital is Monrovia. This step was supposed to solve the black problem then.
Needless to say the American blacks went back and messed that up too....
