True, but he has Trump’s ear and may try to encourage him one way or the other, and he friends with Ryan, so I hope he takes Trump’s side on matters of conflict. Also, if something, God forbid, were to happen to Trump, then we now have Pence as President.
Ryan needs to stop blabbering about conservatism and give us his definition as it relates to immigration, amnesty for illegals, open borders, globalism and trade deals that always increase our trade deficit and move US industries to cheap labor nations.
Give us the correct conservative position on those issues, Mr. Speaker.
Mighty white of him...
Exactly.........
“Trump supported TARP. Pence opposed. Trump opposed NAFTA, Pence supports. Ditto on TPP. Trump supported Muslim Ban. Pence opposed.”
Big deal. No one is going to agree on every single point.
Pence is expected to help unify the party and shut up the Never Trump Clinton supporters in the party.
He appears to be doing that.
We may have no use for Paul Ryan at this point, but there is going to be some effort from Team Trump to meet the GOPe at middle ground here and there. The fact that some #NeverTrumpers may warm up to Trump because of Pence’s normalizing presence is a good thing. That is what’s supposed to happen during this period of fundraising and team building.
I know you’re being sarcastic, but I won’t. As I said. Here is my vetting process.
Does Paul Ryan like this person?
Yes? No cigar. Out out out!
Looks like about all that's left for them to go to is Jeb and Romney; and no one ever liked them anyway. Those losers just look like sour grapes.
anyone Ryan endorses is immediately suspect.... alas....
I second that motion.
So far, if you look at the Never Trumpers on Twitter, they haven’t budged an inch. Those people are too far gone in my opinion.
Oh STFU Ryan. You don’t get to ‘approve’ or disapprove’, all you have to do is hide behind the wall surrounding your mansion after a far better man primaries your RINO ass right on out of Washington.
But it will matter greatly when Trump is done and the veep is president-he can undo the good done m like Bush did with Reagan, bringing us 8 years of Clinton.
Hopefully he will soon be gone.
Who cares what he thinks?
I care what he thinks only because if Ryan is praising this pick, it makes me concerned. I’d prefer Trump bucked the establishment and picked someone Ryan didn’t like.
That sounds good. He did an interview the other day, though, and in that interview he refused to say if he supports the wall. He just kept saying he supports Trump. Trump’s pick should be enthused about the wall.
Me thinks Ryan is Coattail Riding...for the folks in Wisconsin
