WOW! That makes 2 steps in the right direction now. First telling Brussels to take a hike, now slapping the ecowackos where it hurts. In the wallet. What's next? Telling the u.n. to butt out? Maybe a crackdown on the non-assimilating mooselimbs?

Maybe a crackdown on the non-assimilating mooselimbs? Amazing, after they elected an Islamic Thug as London's mayor, many of us felt that the old sod had become a living hell.
Now as you point out, they are showing signs of sanity and maturity instead of suicidal PCism.

The libs always point towards European progressive polices as something we should strive towards.
I am sure they will quickly climb on this bandwagon!

They're shutting it down because people finally realize that wind power is NOT the way to go the UK, given the expensively meticulous maintenance needed for wind farm installations.

All "Green Energy" projects paid by tax payer money should be halted immediately.
If the industry can prove that a project will supply energy that is reliable, sufficient and cost effective (without subsidies) we may reevaluate that one.
Until then, all such waste of public money based on a false premise should be scrapped.
If a private company wants to seek out alternate energy sources, good luck to them.
We'll pay you when you deliver, not before.

Now, if they can help put down or delay the ICAO world wide Carbon Tax Scheme the EU is so enamored with and trying to foist on the rest of the world. The news is; the push is on to get ICAO to approve the plan before the end of the year, before Trump becomes President.

The Tories in England actually managed to eliminate a government agency.
The GOP here is still failing at that after 35 years.
Astounding!

Don't bet the farm on it. Libs never give up. They may subside and go into the shadows for a few years or decades, even. But they will be back pushing this hoax in a while. A break or truce could give them time to modify and manufacture more false data for their future attempts.
