I'm a man of faith, but keeping religion out of school is a good thing.

Keeping GOVERNMENT out of school is a good thing. Compare your local Catholic schools with your local government schools. In most, maybe all, places the Catholic (religious) schools fare far better in the comparison.

There's no need to teach Bible study in public schools.

There's no legitimate justification for government schools to exist. Privatize education: it's far too important to continue letting the government make a hash of it.

“natural marriage” between a man and a woman is most likely to result in offspring who do not become drug-addicted or otherwise damaged.

Faggots pretending to marry won't produce any children at all. The link between broken homes and screwed up children has been demonstrated for decades. Heather does a lot better with her mother and father than with the "two mommies" in the title of the infamous book.

attempts to control the civil liberties of people.

Faggots pretending to marry aren't exercising civil liberties, they're undermining the civil society.

That should clear up your confusion.

I’m not a fan of your word choice (I don’t like to give fodder to the opposition), but content-wise, this is the best post yet.

I am totally in favor of getting the government out of the schools. You are exactly right. They have made a mess of education. Not only have they totally politicized it, but they have failed to teach the basics.

Getting the government out of education is regarded as an “extreme” position by nearly 100% on the left and a surprisingly large number on the right. It is important to explain to these people that being against government education is not the same as being against education. This is a point that most fail to grasp. Perhaps because of their government education?

The platform demands that lawmakers use religion as a guide when legislating, stipulating “that man-made law must be consistent with God-given, natural rights.”
