The chairman of the New Black Panther Party announced the group will attend pre-RNC events carrying firearms for self-defense.
"If it is an open state to carry, we will exercise our second amendment rights because there are other groups threatening to be there that are threatening to do harm to us," Hashim Nzinga, chairman of the New Black Panther Party, told Reuters in a telephone interview.
"If that state allows us to bear arms, the Panthers and the others who can legally bear arms will bear arms."
The group says it expects "a couple hundred" members to attend a pre-convention rally called "National Convention of the Oppressed." The event is scheduled for Thursday and the Panthers said they would leave Cleveland on Sunday before the RNC officially opens.
“We are there to protect ... We are not trying to do anything else,” he said. "We are going to carry out some of these great legal rights we have -- to assemble, to protest and (to exercise) freedom of speech.”
“I have people literally calling me saying this is the first time in my life I protested and I loved it.” Nzinga told Reuters. "They want to be a part of something. They tried to be a part of the system and the system let them down so they want to be part of a rebellion.”
Meanwhile, police departments are pulling out of RNC security plans. The Mansfield Police Department said "something came up" and the Richland County Sheriff's Department has decided not to attend saying "It's kind of a long drive."
The Cincinnati Police announced back in May they would not be assisting with security.
But the Philadelphia police will not boycott or refused to assist the Democratic convention. Correct? In the past eight years our nation has fallen into hard tyranny. I am amazed at how rapid the descent into hell was.
I think the RNC announced that people at the convention are allowed to carry.
Looks like the war starts in earnest this weekend.
Everything that is given the gift of life has the right and duty to protect that gift.
The black community in American is largely a huge mess. Crime, sexual immorality, profanity, abortion, impulsive behavior, lack of education, low test scores, and academic failure. And all of this despite being given preferences in job hiring and university admissions. Most blacks in America have declared themselves beyond sin, beyond accountability to God. And I can say this because over 70% of black households are raised by single mothers with illegitimate children. Racist blacks need someone to blame other than themselves. They are like that is functional family member that ruined their own lives with drugs, crime, fraud, and sloth. Now they want to move in with the relative who has been successful and worked hard to raise their family. They want what they have in their going to take it by force.
I'm sure the democrats would love to have riots at the Republican Convention. And the Republicans do not want a convention surrounded by national guardsmen and armored vehicles. If the local authorities are defaulting, the ball is in the Governor's court. If Kasich has to detail every state policeman to convention security, so be it.
The next predictable escalation in this Marxist destabilization plan will be somebody doing a mag-dump into a BLM riot.
Next after that, race war, emergency laws, and suspended elections.
About five seconds of an A-10 Warthog with a dedicated patriot in the drivers seat could take care of this.

You're right. But the problem will be dealing with the police following orders to protect the 1st Amendment rights of the black trash.
I think that if one looks deep enough into the Black Panther Party, one will learn that r=they are financed by the Democrat Party. To wit} One George Soros.

Obama can’t confiscate guns and he can’t proclaim martial law; attempting either is an incredibly complex process involving all three branches of government and would likely fail. Without a national gun registry there is no confiscation. As for emergency law, that’s feasible only at the local level because of the difficulty of enforcing it.
Anyway, there is now a real possibility of bloodshed between armed combatants outside the Rep convention and it will be on the heads of the city of Cleveland and the governor of Ohio if it indeed happens.
