Against the backdrop of the Minnesota police chief stating today that Ms. Reynolds claims do not match reality . and having looked at the video hundreds of times, Im in agreement with Treeper Nettles who first identified the tri-fold wallet of Philando Castile in the left front pocket of his sweat pants.
Philando Castile - Falcon Heights Police Shooting
When you correct the orientation of the video image (to eliminate mirrored orientation) and then point out the visible location of the hand gun you get this:
mn shooting HANDGUN - WALLET
The wallet was in the left front pocket of his sweat pants (left thigh). Same proximity as the handgun resting part in his lap and part on his left thigh.
Heres the original video where officer Jeronimo Yanez clearly says:
F*** !
I told him not to reach for it I told him to keep his hands off it
The passenger stated the wallet was in his back pocket. So now I want to know what was really in the back pocket. Like maybe the weapon?
at the risk of being redundant, from the galpal video:
galpal video (7minute mark): the officer asked the driver for his license and reg. The driver let the officer know he was CCW -and as he reached - in his back pocket - and the officer - told him not to move - and as he was putting his arms back up.....
Very reasonable theory.
I think the officer was nervous and was caught off guard that Philando had a permit. The officer may have given two different commands. Let me see your license and stay still.
The “Wide Nose” comment is going to win the civil case for the plantiff.
Was stopped last year for a plate light out. Told the officer I had CCW. He said “Thanks” and that was the end of it.
But at least she wasn’t smoking evil tobacco with her kids in the car! /sarc
There is a name for cops who are unconcerned when executing a traffic stop - DECEASED!
In the current thug culture confronting the police is de rigueur.

What is wrong with being courteous and complying with police requests? There will be ample opportunity for recourse later.
Golda Meir said: “There will only be peace when the Palestinians love their children more than they hate the Jews”.....
Same applies here.
How could he be licensed to carry if he was a felon and did not even have a drivers license?
No one has explained that yet.
He was not a felon. Had a long list of traffic offenses.
I've been stopped twice here in S.E. Michigan, both times while having my handgun with me. Each time I informed the officer that I had it and he acted as if he could not care less.......
As a side note, if you have a CPL here, that information is part of your driver's license record with the Sec. of State so when a cop runs your plates, he's going to know that you have that CPL and may be carrying a firearm.
Several reports say he did not have a CCL.
No, there is no recourse later. Twice I’ve called supervisors and both times was told “We didn’t have an officer in that area at that time”
Your statement is right out of the Nazi playbook.
If you haven’t seen any Philando-lovers here, you’re blind. Enough with the lying.
Anybody who disagrees with you and doesn’t hate cops is a Nazi, right? Didn’t I see you on “COPS”?
Link some. In fact, link one. Who's lying?
Anybody who disagrees with you gets this from you: “Your statement falls right into the BLM mantra.” Got a mirror handy?
By the way, all the times the cops harass the wrong people isn’t shown on “COPS”.
