I guess that means it’s Pence, then. Otherwise, Trump would have no reason not to wait and announce at the convention, which is what he’d previously said he’d like to do.
If so, color me unexcited.
He has a good reason, and that’s to dominate the news Friday and over the weekend, plus it gives more time to plan the show.
Could be worse. Pence is not a total wuss. The establishment forced him to endorse Cruz but he pretty much screwed them with his Trump/Cruz endorsement. Said more good things about Trump than Cruz and that was before he was being considered for VP.
Lots of experience, a measured countenance, could be worse.
I can’t remember the last time a VP candidate was announced at the convention. Romney announced Ryan on the Saturday before. McCain announced Palin the Friday before.
Which one was exciting. Having a man who would be 81 at the end of Trump’s presidency or having Mr. Bridgegate?
I thought this guy looked weak during the whole pizzeria thing, but I dont know much more about him.
