I’m inclined to support Mike Pence. A strong conservative who supported Ted Cruz and has Congressional and executive experience.

Michael Flynn would do more harm than good and Newt Gingrich, for all his intelligence, has too much baggage. Jeff Sessions would be a good choice in many ways, but some careless remarks he made during the 1970’s could cause problems.

It seems to be down to 5

My ranking

1)Sessions, he’s old, I don’t care, having a Crown Prince for a potential succession in 2024 is not a prime concern
2)Pence, not super great but so much better than the alternatives below him, a safe choice that at the very least doesn’t hurt anything

3)Lard Boy CC, Please no
4)Newt, Please no, merciful Lord.

5)Democrat Flynn, I’d urge the convention to reject Flynn, McCain was told Lieberman would be rejected

Manafort is urging Pence and Ivanka is urging Newt, allegedly. Some dweeb pollster is urging Trump to alienate conservatives and go with Flynn.

It sounds like it will most likely be Pence, if not him, Newt.
