The Republican platform committee included language calling for a border wall along the U.S. and Mexican border in the draft party platform, getting behind one of presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump's keystone proposals.

The group wrapped up drafting the plan Tuesday in Cleveland in advance of the convention there next week, when the platform will officially be voted on by the full convention's 2,472 delegates.

The proposae platform will express support for a “border wall” that must cover “the entirety of the Southern Border and must be sufficient to stop both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.”

The measure was proposed by Trump supporter Kris Kobach, the secretary of state from Kansas.

At least there is some positive news amongst pre-convention news. Thanks!

I’d rather donate to FR and let Trump get Mexico to pay for it.

“Can’t be done. Jeb told me so.”

Well Jeb couldn’t do it that’s for sure.

I think America is “immigranted” out. Unlike immigrants before, these new “immigrants” are only coming here for a free ride or to kill us. Doesn’t make any sense to me. How about a little “common sense” immigration for a while.

Jeb couldn't build a doll house.

Trump builds 93 story hotels.

Yep. When Trump shows how easily some of these problems can be solved, it’s going to be humiliating for RINO’s like Jeb, who have spent their entire careers trying to sell lowered expectations to the elctorate and trying to convince voters that they need to accept failure.

You’ve hit on it. Trump is proposing common-sense solutions for problems that mainstream politicians COULD have proposed, if they were not compromised by their big-money donors. That’s why the mainstream politicians hate him. That’s why the big-money donors hate him.

It’s a perfect storm.

Yes it is a nice looking building.

Is that the first time you’ve seen a Trump building?

Never seen it in person. I’d like to. But I’ve seen pictures. It’s very tastefully designed IMO.
