Jeb Bush: I cant vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, and it breaks my heart
Washington Times ^ | July 11, 2016 | David Sherfinski
EXCERPT
A lot of the governors, I would have been very comfortable with, Mr. Bush said. John Kasich I thought ran a great campaign, and [Marco] Rubio, [Ted] Cruz. There are a lot of people. The bars not that high for me. Im not suggesting that you have to be a perfect candidate.
(snip)
More like Niccolò Machiavelli, I’d say.
I’ve been a Republican and voted such since Gen Eisenhower. I’ve worked for Republicans all these years. This is the first year I’ve been aware of a person PICKED
by the average, fly over country, six pack, American put through a wringer, that Donald J. Trump, a pure, bred American, presidential candidate, is being put through. Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, romney are going among the “elitests” to take him off the ticket and put one of their weak kneed squeegee sponges on the ticket, to represent them, not the average American working person.
I voted for Cruz, but I’ll tell you, when he runs again, I’ll do all I can to keep him from representing Americans in Texas.
