Fox News had a Newt Gingrich problem -- and it just announced a solution.
The cable news channel is suspending its ties with Newt Gingrich since Gingrich is on Donald Trump's vice presidential short list.

How funny would it be if Trump picked Newt and then put him in hiding for four months, and Warren can’t get any equal time.
Newt is older and a lot less fit than trump,he is great for chief of staff,especially since he knows the ins and outs of congress,and can be a great attack dog without sounding harsh. I do not know who he will pick,but the general would be better at Secretary of defense.

I have wondered if his son, Erick Trump, is the one that will take that job. He seems to be doing something like that for Dad on the campaign trail.
Hopefully Newt will be back at FOX soon
The fact is Newt is the best choice to energize Republicans and deal with attacks from the left. Personal foibles aside, the man is brilliant.

Odd how they waited until now? How long has it been speculated that Newt would be the VP but they’re just now cutting ties.
So why cut ties before announcement?
