Sen. Ted Cruz accepted an invitation from President Barack Obama to travel aboard Air Force One on Tuesday to Dallas for an interfaith memorial honoring the victims of last weeks attack.
The news was reported by multiple reporters who spotted Cruz at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland where the presidents plane departs from.

Cruz is the only one sufficiently callous to Obamas role in the officers death to lend the Accomplice to Murder in Chief a veneer of respectability.
Do you expect the rest of the Texas delegation to stand when Obama speaks and turn their backs on him? If you do I have not seen you call for it.I should think you would do so to strip away the veneer of respectability from an "accomplice to murder."
None of us has called for it because the act would be petulant and inappropriate in the context of the ceremony honoring fallen heroes. But when they sit at attention for Obama speech are they not pandering? Of course they are not, that is an expected part to be played in an appropriate context just as a senator riding in the People's plane to the scene of trouble in his own state is utterly appropriate and traditional.
Your indignation is utterly subjective and counterproductive.
Incidentally, it's my information that Sen. Corker was offered a ride and declined allegedly for reasons of scheduling. No rebuke of Obama or his role as an "accomplice" to murder was reported, however.
Yet of the entire TX delegation, Cruz alone flew to the memorial with the one man most responsible for inflaming the racial hatred that brought to police murders about.
I understand the reasoning re your profile page, and thank you for the service to our Nation.
Acts 5:29-32...pretty clear distinction, it seems to me...
Thank you.
I always enjoy yours, even when I differ.
Cheers ..
That so desperately merited both emphasis and repetition.
Speak out? I have. Many times. We’re beyond speaking now. IMHO, anti-Trumpers can get lost. We’re beyond rehashing the Cruz failure. If the sore losers can’t get past it, they’re absolutely no good for the cause. A vote for anyone but Trump is a betrayal to America and to every principle we hold dear. If Hillary is elected, we’re done for generations. The liberal activist judges she appoints will be with us for a very long time and will kill off what’s left of our constitution. If you can’t see that or refuse to see it, you’re an idiot. Has nothing whatsoever to do with Cruz. Forget Cruz. He’s no longer a factor in this race other than negative. If he doesn’t endorse trump he’ll deserve all the grief we can give him.
It was expected that Cruz would be at the memorial. Did you miss that it is the chumming with Obama that was offensive? Not politics but integrity that should have guided him in choice of transportation.
The important point is that Corker declined. He did not lend Obama the respectability of his acceptance of the ride.
So you put single quotes around ‘accomplice,’ do you? Does this mean you exonerate Obama of all responsibility in the officers’ deaths?
If only this were short enough, it would be my new sig line! ;)
WOO HOO!!! VOTE TRUMP!!!
Can’t fault Senator Cruz here.
The POTUS invited him to fly to his Home State to Honor the fallen Police Officers.
AF1 belongs to the American People. It isn’t Obama’s Plane.
If Senator Cruz declined he would look like an Ignorant Partisan Fool.
Am I the only one here thinking this way, really?
Cruz involvement in hurting McDaniel and McDaniel supporting him only shows McDaniel is not a petty, “take my ball and go home” brat as so many seems to be. Seems integrity is a value to him.
Some of us believe that Obama played an active role in getting these officers killed. If that’s true, then it’s unseemly to validate him in the matter. A gracious, thanks, but no thanks, would be sufficient.
I wish more people could understand what you so clearly described.
This election is for all the marbles.
For people like us that love America, it is Trump or the gulag.
Clinton gets in, the Left will dominate America and their enemies will pay a price.
Trump gets in, America will become great again.
For our children, grandchildren, and generations yet unborn should the Lord tarry, it is Trump in 2016!
“Obamas choice of traveling companions underscored the theme. Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California joined Obama on Air Force One for the flight to Dallas. Republican Sen. John Cornyn attended and spoke at the service but did not travel with the president.”

I put the word "accomplice" in quotation marks because you had used the word and if Obama is guilty of murder as you suggest it would require much more from the Texas delegation then to stay mum, appear dutiful and attentive during his speech, and not decline when not invited to ride in Air Force One.
Of course I believe that Obama has moral responsibility for the deaths of the officers in Dallas because he has played the race card for nearly 8 years as part of his plan to transform America.
But it is absurd to say that Obama has personal responsibility for the actual act involved, that would require that Obama had some foreknowledge and failed to act or even encouraged the murders.
The time to challenge Obama and his policies about race for their moral vacuity began about eight years ago but those opportunities were squandered. It is not appropriate at a time of a memorial ceremony for fallen heroes to start that fight.
One might say that by riding in Air Force One Ted Cruz has protected his moral standing to attack Obama's policies which he would have compromised had he made an issue of declining the ride. Remember, every criticism of Obama ultimately is rebuffed by charges of racism. It is vital that personal petulance or hatred be removed from public perception if Obama's policies are to be defeated. If Cruz declines the ride publicly and then criticizes Obama, he leaves himself open to charges of racism etc.
