Reminds me of Ashley Turton, former staff member of Nancy Pelosi and married to an Obama staff member. In 2011 her car burst into flames and she never made an attempt to get out. No explanation was given for her bizarre death.
Then there was the murder of John P. Wheeler III. I haven't heard of efforts to solve it.
