Barack Obama confronting again the frustrating sting of his unfinished business.
The lingering shortfalls of his presidency -- on guns, race, war, and politics -- seemed to confront Obama in each hallway and beyond every podium during his stop in the Polish capital.
Obama insisted Saturday he's not keen to assess his own legacy as his term winds down, preferring to leave that task to historians. He says he's focused more on finishing his presidency at a sprint. And for the first time in years, a majority of Americans say in polls they approve of his job performance. That doesn't mean, however, that tough realities about what he has and hasn't accomplished aren't rapidly settling in.
his three appearances decrying gun violence in America joined a seemingly endless stream of statements following mass shootings. His press secretary said Friday that inability to convince Congress to pass gun control was the President's biggest frustration.
The racial undertones of the violence placed Obama, yet again, in the fraught position of calling attention to persistent racial disparities, which he says he's experienced himself, while also championing the police many minorities mistrust.
Obama responded Saturday that change takes time.

Incremental progress has become a hallmark of Obama's governing mantra.
"As Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful military in the world, I spend a lot of time brooding over these issues," Obama said when asked about the conflicts from which he's been unable to fully withdraw U.S. troops. "And I'm not satisfied that we've got it perfect yet. I can say honestly, it's better than it was when I came into office."

3. Set race relations back fifty years;
4. Left the world totally exposed to radical Islam;
5. Squandered all of our gains in Iraq and Afghanistan;
6. Left the Middle East a tinderbox;
7. Gutted our military;
8. Betrayed our allies;
9. Made us the laughingstock of the world;
10. Only president in history not to have had at least 3% economic growth in any year of his presidency; and
11. Flooded the country with illegal immigrants.
That is quite a list of accomplishments. Oh, but at least queers now get to marry.
Makes you absolutely want to scream and the brain washed sheep

Because there are SO MANY minority individuals who were/are better individuals, more intelligent, more experienced, more capable, more honorable, more professional, more respected ... who could have done a better job as US President than HE has been - and they could have done it in their sleep, without even TRYING!!!
Michael Savage had the perfect description for that kind of people “Jogging jokesters, stuck in Camelot fantasies”.
I was laughing at a friend who had watched the remarks from the pRESIDENT in Dallas: “God, I love that man! He gave such a beautiful and from the heart speech, it really moved me..he said we need to have a new heart....a new heart and a new spirit”....So stupid, their heads filled with the words they want to hear to feel good and are blind to what it’s really going on.
