A group of 187 delegates, including supporters of both Democratic candidates, crammed into a steamy hotel ballroom to pore over a draft document and offer amendments. […]

The draft going into the meeting already reflected Sanders’ influence, with steps to break up large Wall Street banks and support for an end to the death penalty. …

The further left they push the platform, the better for us this election.

Democrat party platform: U.S. Constitution toilet paper free to everyone.

Republican party platform: U.S. Constitution toilet paper $5 per roll.

Sounds to me like the AP is trying to appease the Bernie supporters. I bet the AP way overstated the case.

Oh, this is such a lie. Sanders got nothing but enough theatrical scraps that his supporters can wear their tails proudly between their legs.

Don't worry, Cankles is just teasing the poor lad and his minions.

If you think for one second that the She-Dog won't rip his Yankee throat out if he succeeded, then you, sir, are not too bright.

My comment is not so much about what Clinton would do to Sanders, I personally know full well what she is capable of. My cynicism is more a comment on how liberal the electorate has become and how a further left leaning democratic platform may not actually hurt Hillary’s campaign. It is not an optimistic view of my fellow Americans, I hope to be wrong. Incidentally, I am a woman and a Yankee myself ( though I am a Sox fan!)

If he thinks Hillary is going to stick to any donkey platform he might as well start digging his grave. Hillary the Great Globalist has plans of her own. And enriching herself is item number one.
