BTW - I can actually hear the difference of the tires on the road when he enters a democrat run state! the roads are THAT bad - all that money people pay for the roads - never seems to make it ‘for the roads’ -

I drive this section of I-81 and he’s right, it’s deadly. It needs to be widened through Hagerstown and 20 miles further to the PA border. Tired of seeing all the traffic deaths in this area. It seems none of the dead are important enough to grab the governor’s attention.

I agree. I-70 intersection onto the already narrowed I-81 is part of the problem. Short on and off ramps at all the local exits don’t help anything either! It’s poorly designed.
I think every road in Delaware has been rebuilt or resurfaced since Biden became VP.
Used to be Maryland had great roads until O'Malley found how easy it was to raid the Transportation Fund.
I agree with you—but the bigger point is that the politicians take billions of OUR money and NEVER put it in infrastructure-(for OUR use). They use hundreds of thousands of OUR money to make themselves millionaires and billionaires (and their children), as they create millions of lazy, dumb teenagers who will be steeped in dept and demoralized completely (exp. if white males) so they are WORTHLESS and don’t know how to WORK (read Booker T. Washington’s Autobiography about WHAT people have to do to grow up to be moral and self-reliant (not a Slave).

Politicians are there to work for US and they do everything to impair us, to control us, to enslave us, to keep us from self-reliance and esp. to embed dependency (slavery/socialism) through the mass indoctrination system of skooling. Pavlov’s system of mass conditioning (Psychological warfare) on our children so they are twisted, dumb, ignorant, slaves of the State.
No Common Sense, no understanding of Reality (Truth) or Self (Identity). The Age of Reason was only possible with Classical Christian curricula-—and homeschooling (or small local schools with Bibles and all ages of children mixed) where individualism and identity (Reality) could be learned naturally, and the Real Life skills could be mastered (true self-reliance) (understanding of Natural Law which is Reason and Logic that created the Age of Reason).
The Constitution is BASED on Natural Law Theory (Objective Truth/God’s Design of Nature (not man’s utopia)). The Marxists are destroying not only those concepts (Logic) in our children-—but rewriting our history so children embed HATE for it and WILL reject it because they are so ignorant of Truth and will remain IRRATIONAL.
OUR money (that of the producers) needs to be used for us, the people (Good—NEVER EVIL)-—not to enrich our masters/bankers and to control and restrict us. Insanity is allowing govt. to take our money and use it to destroy us (control the minds of our own children). That is the SYSTEM and it is SATANISM or Marxism-—whatever-—just not rational and Christian and “Justice” or Constitutional. Might cut down on accidents if they posted some signs that said:

and LIKELY DRUNK TOO!
No matter how many lanes you add, they will fill up and crawl during ‘rush hour’. Unless you can find better ways to get people on and off the interstate, traffic will stink. We have 7 lanes each direction on I-75 and it is impossible.
I drive the small stretch of I-81 through Maryland every time I go from Georgia to Connecticut. It is unmemorable. Both I-80 and I-76 in Pennsylvania are far more treachoerous, and I-81 is MUCH worse in Scranton is more miserable/dangerous during rush hour.
If Mr. Burns believes it is that dangerous, he should take alternate routes, the extra time will be worth it.

I just drove most of the Ohio turnpike and most of the PA turnpike last night. Around 3am it got really fun. The speed limit is 70. Even the semi’s were doing 85.
There was very little traffic and it was actually a fun drive.
Get over it Burns. Treat it like a game and learn to DRIVE, not sit there like a scared little child holding the wheel.

How many people get a license to drive is a mystery to me. It must be that the Moron version is the only test used.
Failure to know the rules of the road. Failure to comprehend that speed limits are not a suggested minimum. Tailgating. Failure to understand what "yield" and "merge" mean. STOP does not mean spin tires on pavement. Lights on when windshield wipers are in operation. Seatbelts usually stop you from being a projectile should you roll over and the doors unlatch. Hey, here's a concept: learn Newton's Laws of Motion....an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. Leave your damned cellphone holstered while driving and don't try to write, put on makeup, shave, eat, cook food or have sex while driving 70 MPH down the damned highway.
Simple to fix. Make the MD I-81 stretch a toll road and charge a steep $6-8 toll to cross (actually, it would make more sense to make I-81 from the I-66 merge thru MD a toll road, but that would involve two other states -— the entire stretch is a congested mess). That would do two things: raise hundreds of millions to widen and improve the interstate, and discourage a lot of purely local traffic from getting on I-81 and getting off again three or four miles later instead of staying on local roads. The fewer the people merging into traffic and maneuvering to exit the fewer the accidents. And the improvements would be financed by people who actually benefit (including out-of-staters) instead of Maryland taxpayers who rarely drive the stretch (e.g.,people residing in the eastern shore, etc.).
Of course the publisher of the Hagerstown paper would likely squeal about the the tolls, then.
