PSA: The State Department Just Rebooted Their Probe Into Clinton's Emails

With the conclusion of the FBI investigation that ended with no recommendation for charges to be brought forward against Mrs. Clinton for mishandling classified material, though they added that she and her team were “extremely careless” in that respect, the State Department announced that they will reboot their internal probe into the former first lady’s email usage. The probe was suspended upon the announcement of the FBI’s investigation into the matter to avoid interference

Spokesman John Kirby says the emails probe is restarting now that the Justice Department isn't pursuing a criminal prosecution. The State Department suspended its review in April to avoid interfering with the FBI's inquiry.

Kirby set no deadline for the investigation's completion.

Clinton was secretary of state until early 2013. Most of her top advisers left shortly thereafter.

But Kirby said this week former officials can still face "administrative sanctions." The most serious is loss of security clearances, which could complicate Clinton's naming of a national security team if she becomes president.

While Team Clinton and her supporters want this matter to go away after FBI Director James Comey and Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced that Mrs. Clinton wouldn’t be charged for her egregious lapse in judgment regarding safeguarding state secrets, the presumptive Democratic nominee isn’t out of the woods yet. Also, there’s the Clinton Foundation is still under FBI investigation.

Actually heard a joke some years ago about a fictional conversation between Bill and Hillary.

The conversation centered around Bill not choosing to go into politics but instead staying in Arkansas and say...running a gas station.

Hillary was nonplussed at the prospect of Bill choosing to run a gas station.

She replied “I’ll still be married to the President of the United States.”

Ain’t it great that the FBI dragged out their fake investigation for months, knowing what their conclusion would be before they started? During this period, the State Department and other investigators were conveniently stonewalled.

Where are the docs that the FBI supposedly “recovered” fropm the various Hillary-servers? These should be turned over to the State Department, which is under order to turn them over to the FOIA Plaintiffs. I guess all that will happen by December...

With no deadline for the conclusion of their internal investigation, this matter won’t be decided until after the November elections. And then it will turn on who is the winner.

If Hillary is elected, the State Department will conclude that all the offenses committed in deliberately copying classified information into a private email server system somehow don’t constitute an offense. (Probably some variation on the FBI “intent” excuse.) It would be an offense for anyone else, just not Hillary and her cabal.

If Hillary loses, they will take whatever administrative nice action they need to quietly close out the investigation. Hillary at that point will no longer be a threat to the State Department and her subordinates will not be in government.

I knew the State Department was political before, now it’s just hopelessly corrupt. Expect to find no integrity there.

The democrat run State Dept. refused for years to hand over any pertinent emails,documents or to have any of the principle witnesses testify before the Benghazi committee.
Now the same State Dept has reopened an investigation for the sole purpose of keeping all information and witnesses "under current investigation"and thus legally unavailable to be reviewed by any one else until H_____ is crowned supreme ruler.

The take I have is focused on her lies to Congress...under oath. Comey indicated their investigation found Clinton did in fact send and receive messages marked classified, secret, top secret and SAP.

Clinton before congress testified, under oath, she did not send any messages marked.....

When I was in the military, documents were labeled confidential, secret, top secret, and top secret--codeword. I recall none that were marked merely "Classified".

Right. I heard a lawyer some time ago comment on Hillary's statement of, “I never sent or received documents marked classified”.

This would be a true statement. According to this lawyer, documents are not marked classified. So Hillary in perfect Clintonian speak deceived w/o lying.
