I try to avoid all contact with cops, just on general principles, but this cop-hating on a supposedly conservative site makes me sick and angry.

I wouldn't really call myself a "hater". I never smoked dope or any drug, and generally stayed out of trouble in high school. Many of the local cops that I've interacted with have been very cool.

After what I saw FEDERAL law enforcement do to the Randy Weaver family at Ruby Ridge and the Branch Davidians at Waco, let's just say that respecting law enforcement became optional for me.
