I think because “Turn the other cheek.” has been badly misconstrued.

Some folks think praying for enemies is also “weakness”.

Christians have become weak by normal standards, myself included. Just look at the Ecumenical nonsense being spilled from the pulpits of most preachers these days.

Osteen, Warren, Jakes, Dollar, and Long are leading congregations straight to hell.
