Conservative lawmakers have chosen Home Secretary Theresa May and Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom to fight a runoff contest for leadership of Britain's governing party. The winner will become the country's second female prime minister.

Both have their merits, but Leadsom had a more no nonsense matter to her speeches, as did Mssr. Farage.

I agree. Leadsome is totally qualified and has a sound head on her shoulders.
May supported remaining in the EU, so I don’t think she would be ideal to lead the country’s transition out. I was really hoping for more of an improvement over Cameron, but I suspect that she will end up the winner. She’s certainly much better than any Labour minister at least.

Recently been hearing how things happen in the u.k. before happening in the u.s., in the same way that destructive policies are often born in Kali.
Is this just more proof that our election is already over and done with? Both these candidates are women, ergo they are more qualified than any man.

I just pray that either is another Margaret Thatcher...because a Trump Presidency with that would be like Reagan and Thatcher and that sort of things brings down communism and other bad isms around the world!
