Because he didn’t want to go to Fort Marcy Park at 3 in the morning.

He blinked because:

1) He was threatened
2) He was blackmailed
3) He was bribed.

I’ll take all three for $1000, Alex.

Comey’s backbone, reputation, and honor (or lack thereof) will forever be clouded. He is a political hack, not a law enforcement official. He is a disgrace to the law. J. Edger Hoover is spinning in his grave.

Why did Comey blink? The answer is the always the same ... COWARDICE

It is simply easier for an employee in a democrat administration to not recommend criminal charges against a democrat.

Even if Comey had recommended criminal charges against Hillary nothing would have happened. The Justice dept would drug out the matter until after the election and eventually used similar words Comey used as rationale for why THEY won’t indict. The outcome would have been the same.

What Comey did was just make it easier for his boss and himself. Cowardice.

James Comey is an evil man.... he worked under Bush and Ashcroft to get Islamic terrorists freed and viciously prosecuted the prosecutor and FBI agent who put them behind bars. Now he let a brazen serial liar and felon off the hook on the flimsiest of grounds.

Comey has their back. He doesn’t have yours.

He didn’t ‘blink.’

He was utterly bare-faced in his duplicity, while his integrity (such as it is) was suborned by thoughts of job, perks, salary, and pension - all confiscated by vengeful dems led by obama/hillary.

It’s not rocket science.

He didn’t blink, his eyes were wide open. He will retire and make some $250,000 speeches then run some university.

DC is a cesspool, and Comey has caught political hepatitis along with apparently almost everyone else who lives there and works for the feds.

Comey is taking lessons from that dill weed Roberts on the SCOTUS who has saved Obamacare twice with tortured, nonsensical, anti-Constitutional opinions. The fix *is* in at the Federal government...and at most state & local governments, too.

I agree with many that he was threatened and this could be the case.

But, I also think that there is a possibility that there were emails that were so revealing that they should not see the light of day as it would be dangerous for the country. The pardon was a cover up of something terrible.

She thought her private server would hide her emails, and it was just the opposite. It will all come out someday, and then we will know how terribly dangerous it was for her to be in this high position.

She cannot be trusted, she lies, and she is not fit for any office in our government or elsewhere.

Blinked? That implies he ever even considered doing the right thing. He didn’t, he had his orders.
