Twitters court of public opinion was ruling against FBI Director James Comey Tuesday after the FBI announced that it would not be pressing any charges against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton despite ruling that she and her aides were careless in their mishandling of classified information during Clintons time as secretary of state.
With a creativity usually reserved for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumps faux pas, Twitter exploded with Shorter Comey tweets as the Twittersphere boiled down the massive FBI investigation and Comeys statement to the media Tuesday into a message that was just Twitter-sized.

FB and twitter posts were heavily mocking comey and clinton yesterday...
As they should. Anyone with a real brain knows there was some type of payoff. None of us would be able to send classified documents over our home server without doing 10 years hard time. Anyone and I mean ANYONE in this administration can be bought off. There is no rule of law anymore, only those with connections and those without.
Will any newspapers or politicians will finally use Comey’s words to call for Clinton to step out of the presidential race?
Not the Cruz Crew. They were full steam ahead never trump always Hillary yesterday.
Excellent
Comey just joined the Twit club
Of course not. They'll line up behind her like a row of toy soldiers.
That SOB failed to uphold the rule of law WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CONSEQUENCES. I'm SICK AND TIRED of the CONSEQUENCES of applying the rule of law being given MORE WEIGHT than APPLYING the rule of law itself. ENOUGH G-DAMMIT!!!!!
Have we turned into a GUTLESS festering WUSSIFIED PARALYZED emasculated ball of emotion in this country or what?
We can mock them, but they still won.
Please see this short video. Excellent! Comey vl Clinton, every lie rebutted.

Ted Cruz castigated Comey for the decision.
“While I have tremendous respect for the dedicated men and women of the FBI, I have serious concerns about the integrity of Director Comeys decision, and how it threatens the rule of law.
Director Comey has rewritten a clearly worded federal criminal statute. In so doing, he has come dangerously close to saying that grossly negligent handling of classified information should not result in serious consequences for high-level officials. In a nation where the rule of law is supposed to matter, this is troubling.”

BILL CLINTON PULLS HILLARY’S CHESTNUTS OUT OF THE FIRE
The way I read it, Comey did his best to lay out the case to find Hillary guilty and actually did a good job of it.
That is why it was a surprise to hear his final recommendation that let her off the hook.
It is obvious he did not forward a recommendation to indict because his hands were tied in some way - by others or for some personal reason.
Either he had direct orders to not recommend an indictment, is being blackmailed, let politics rather than the law dictate his decision or was under duress for a different reason.
We all know he should have done the right thing, recommended an indictment and dared Obama and Lynch to retaliate.
But who knows what kind of pressure they put on him?
And who of us know what kind of pressure Bill Clinton put on Obama and Lynch?
The article completely missed the hashtag #extremelycareless . Much funnier. But still sad.
“Not the Cruz Crew. They were full steam ahead never trump always Hillary yesterday.”
You are able to post yesterday that Cruz was late to condemn Hillary and then today that he was full steam always hillary? Get help.
That’s actually funny...Hillary already has the newspapers and uniparty politicians will bluster and engage in theater, that’s all they know how to do...well, that and signing the back of checks.
