I am thankful that the kind waitress told the patriotic customers to depart. Being told quickly is better than what happened to me at a Mexican restaurant: sit down, place an order, and then ignored for 30 minutes. So I got the rude message and departed.

While it is a free country and I support refusal of service for any private entity this waitress should be fired. She just alienated (no pun intended) half the country. I hope they go bankrupt if the owner agreed to this. That will be enjoyable to see liberals get their due.
Then call the IRS and tell them you think there are a bunch of employees off the books and not having payroll taxes withheld.

Given the mentality of many leftists, I would not care to wear Trump or other un-PC gear into an eatery.... there is a good chance of something disgusting being done to the food.
Trump should bring up the bakery and pizzeria in Indiana and what happened to those owners and point out the hypocrisy.
