NASHVILLE — When she was just 16, Cyntoia Brown climbed into a pickup truck with a stranger, drove to his home, got into his bed — then shot him in the back of the head with a .40-caliber handgun as he lay naked beside her.

Brown, now 28, is serving a life sentence at the Tennessee Prison for Women for the murder of Johnny Mitchell Allen, a 43-year-old Nashville real estate agent.

Yeah. That would be okay if we didn’t drag it out for years. Thankfully the very thing the people on the left count of to shock folks about the injustice of the death penalty, relatively inexpensive genetics testing and ever improving forensics techniques, will actually make the death penalty MORE palatable going forward because there will be greater confidence in convictions.

Not having a death penalty for crimes which actually merit it, like premeditated murder, is barbaric.

Yeah, [some] scientific studies show adolescent brains aren’t fully developed.
Other studies show that abandonment or abuse before the age of 3 is linked to permanent inability to bond or feel empathy toward other humans.
IOW, a sociopath for life.

Might explain the yute violence and sex trafficking in the inner cities. Abandoned by fathers, abused/emasculated by single mothers. Kids relating to each other as objects to be used and discarded.
Democrat policies have resulted in an entire generation of sociopaths being turned loose in schools and on the streets.

We’ve tried raising a sociopath (adopted from foster care at 18 months) on a steady diet of discipline, morals, no TV, no computer or handheld devices, psychiatric care and behavioral counseling. This is what she was, is, and always will be and her mother and I take no responsibility.

After her third call to CPS for abuse, we are done. We sent her to live with her adopted father who will go out of his way to enabler her to become even more F’ed up then she already is. This is not just my opinion but the opinion of those mental healthcare providers that tried to provide her treatment for the past several years.
