It appears the fix for Hillary Clinton to be cleared of any wrongdoing or breaking the law is now firmly locked in place. POTUS, Obama has issued his marching orders...and, the FBI, the entire Democrat Party & the biased Obamabot media has morphed into full lock-step into absolving Hillary Clinton of any criminal charges in her "criminal" e-mail escapade!!! We shall see and find out, in the coming days!!! Sad!!! American, justice, freedom & liberty are dying at the hands of despots, tryrants & dictators. The FBI has no independent credence or honesty. It is just another tool to be used by Obama, Inc. Weep....folks....America is gone!!!
Strongly disagree. We are in the age of the 24/7 news cycle. It's not 1973 when most Americans completely tuned out over holiday weekends. For better or worse, everybody gets news feeds over their mobile devices. The Saturday FBI interview was at the top of the news cycle and everybody knows what went down.
The fact that the FBI conducted this interview on a holiday weekend with eight agents underscores the severity of the situation in my opinion. If they wanted to bury it, it would be done with one or two agents on a weekday as a government car pulling up to the Clinton residence would have likely gone unnoticed. A fleet of them pulling up on a Saturday morning is a totally different optic.
We shall see. But the fact that she was grilled on a Saturday morning during a holiday weekend definitely grabbed everybody's attention.
The Hard Left is gleeful. They don't care - this is just more Red Team vs Blue Team to them.
I have an old friend who is a Lefty - his mind is impenetrable on this matter. "It's all the Republicans!" he cries, when I point out that it's the Uniparty doing the Kabuki Dance on this.
Needless to say, I've lost a lot of the former respect that I had for this guy.

Once again the Clintons have turned the US into a big soap opera. They have done huge damage to the country and deserve the same punishment given to the Rosenburgs. There is no way out other than to convict.
Looking at it this way, this brings up an interesting point.
Failure to recommend an indictment mean that the FBI [and everyone who works there] has involved itself in a conspiracy to obstruct justice - a serious federal crime.
The IRS has already been tainted in this manner. Everyone who works for the IRS is involved in a conspiracy to obstruct justice over the Lois Lerner matter - because they've ALL had many training sessions about who exactly is allowed to access confidential taxpayer files.
Since none of them reported their concerns and certain knowledge that Lerner committed multiple felonies in allowing unauthorized parties to access hundreds of confidential taxpayer files to their superiors at the IRS, the agency has now become a giant criminal conspiracy.
Does the FBI want to become tainted in this manner, too?
In future investigations, Congress needs to freeze all funding of government departments until they turn over all documents and cooperate. And throw all witnesses in jail for contempt if they refuse.

If this were going to go away, it already would have. Someone with knowledge of the investigation is leaking new info week after week. The story remains in the news, which is very damaging to Clinton even as she continually downplays and denies and lies.
Let those who broke the law be brought to justice. We, as a nation, and our guiding document, the Constitution, will survive and be stronger for it.

I agree with your analysis, but I would dearly love to see Hillary against Trump in the final campaign. It would be so gratifying to see Trump rip her a new A-hole in the debates. The Clintons need a huge comeuppance, and this may be their chance. Since 1992 I’ve always thought that the world will never be safe as long as a Clinton wastes oxygen.
For better or worse, I still have faith in the FBI. I’ve made acquaintance with some agents over the years and they are some INTENSE people. They live to work for the FBI. They are a lot like Marines in their dedication to service.
That said, the majority of people writing about this don’t understand technology, system security or security clearances. All we are reading now is uninformed speculation and campaign spin. I seriously doubt Obama or Lynch know all of what the core investigative team knows. Clinton campaign spinners certainly don’t know. I’d also say the investigative team is compartmentalized and perhaps only a handful, including Comey, know everything. I believe they are finding everything we believe is there, up to and including Treason.
I believe this information will get out and destroy Hillary either by way of an indictment or extensive leaking from the investigation if Lynch will not indict.
That my friend is the CORE ISSUE in America today.
