It has never happened before, and it might never again after Sunday, when North Carolina hosts a Major League Baseball regular-season game for the first time. This, in baseball parlance, is the states call-up, its promotion to The Show.
Its happening at Fort Bragg outside Fayetteville. Major League Baseball has built a field and a temporary stadium and put up lights for the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins, who play Sunday night in a military appreciation game that will be televised nationally on ESPN.

B..Bu..But they don’t allow pervs in the girls bathrooms in NC. I’m shocked that MLB is allowing a game to be played there and I’m shocked that ESPN would televise a game from there.

Interesting point. I wonder what the bathroom arrangements are there? I see it was a temporary stadium built for just this game. Probably they have porta potties where people go one at a time. In that case, people of any sex could go in, and then they side step the vital issue of what bathrooms people are to use.
