Stop Calling Them Warriors, Social Justice Whiners Are Anything But

The titles of “hero” or warrior” are probably two of the most appropriated titles today by those who are the least deserving of that distinction. They do not walk a warrior’s humble path of honor and self-sacrifice but, instead, seek fame pursuing a selfish agenda through intimidation and threats of violence. This is no truer than those screaming children at our universities along with their liberal professors screaming for muscle or those threatening riots if a particular candidate is elected President of the United States.

The Urban Dictionary defines social justice warrior like this:

A pejorative term for an individual who repeatedly and vehemently engages in arguments on social justice on the Internet, often in a shallow or not well-thought out way, for the purpose of raising their own personal reputation. A social justice warrior, or SJW, does not necessarily strongly believe all that they say, or even care about the groups they are fighting on behalf of. They typically repeat points from whoever is the most popular blogger or commenter of the moment, hoping they will “get SJ points” and become popular in return. They are very sure to adopt stances that are “correct” in their social circle.

So what does this mean? It means that most people that identify as SJWs are weak-minded, uniformed posers that are seeking the spotlight. To the liberals, they are useful idiots who will blindly follow anyone at the microphone. We used to call them hypocrites. But lately, many on college campus’ that call themselves Social Justice “Warriors” are nothing more than spoiled brats whose primary struggle is finding a job after graduating with a worthless degree in gender studies.

True warriors are defined by an ethos, the underlying sentiment that informs the beliefs, customs, or practices of a group or society. In his book, The Warrior Ethos, author and former Marine Steven Pressfield defined the warrior ethos like this:

The warrior ethos is a code of conduct that embodies a life where integrity, loyalty, honor, and selflessness, and courage are one’s guide. Starting thousands of years ago with the hunters, these concepts evolved into the warrior societies where protection for the tribe was best achieved as a group working together. The rudimentary laws arising from the successful tribes evolved into the warrior ethos practiced by the Spartans and others where courage, cooperation, and acknowledging the strength of the group over that of the individual, enabled the tribe or the nation to survive.

Nowhere does it mention the need for warriors to seek the overthrow of the administrative structure of organizations or the need for warriors to inflict their vision on society through the threat or use of violence on the members of that society. But, this is the modus operandi of the radical SJWs today at political rallies and universities across the nation.

However, we can’t lay all the blame for the volume and violence that seems to be indicative of SJWs and the mindless drones that listen or follow them. A good portion of the blame belongs to those who encourage this idiocy like liberal professors, advocates and organizers that see racism, sexism, homophobia, islamophobia and bigotry around every corner like Melissa Click, Melissa Harris Perry, Jorge Ramos, La Raza, CAIR, and Black Lives Matter.

Even the liberals in DC have gotten in on the act to encourage these sycophants. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, a black, female lawyer had the audacity to compare the “struggle” of transgenders to the Civil Rights movement. Seriously? Or the liberal media’s messaging that the reason for the extremely high suicide rate among transgenders is because of bullying. Evidence, please? Not to be outdone, President Obama lectured the state of North Carolina and sent out a dictate from the throne that all public schools will allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity. Could it be that the “struggle” is against Americans that don’t believe men wearing women’s clothing have the right to be in the women’s bathroom? Or, that gender fluidity is genetically impossible and reassignment surgery is not the solution.

The violent Anti-Trump protests in San Jose are another example. Burning the American Flag and terrorizing people that attended the rally, for what reason? Because Trump has come out firm against illegal immigration. Here’s the truth: ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DON”T DESERVE TO BE HERE. Sanctuary city mayors are criminals. Illegal immigrants that suck off the welfare system, don’t pay taxes, have anchor babies in our emergency rooms only to violently express their “right” to be here or espouse the virtues of being an illegal “dreamer” through an arrogant tweet, deserve a one-way ticket out of the USA. We are either a nation of laws or we are not. President Obama doesn’t have the right or the power to choose which laws should be followed and neither does anyone else.

The insidious truth is that SJWs have no interest in justice, certainly not for those that don’t drink their Kool-Aid and challenge their “beliefs”. They only want to disrupt, shout down and intimidate people into catering to the ridiculous demands their triggered little minds can dream up. And if you don’t, prepare for the threats, name-calling, egging and, eventually, a punch in the face.

The result is that there is more racial hatred, victimization, bigotry and division that has stemmed from these “movements”. When will enough be enough? Believing that illegal immigrants should leave or be deported IS NOT RACIST. Not believing that gender identity is a choice or even a real thing beyond a mental condition IS NOT BIGOTRY. Pointing out that Michael Brown was a criminal and “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” was a lie IS NOT RACISM. It’s REALITY. Free speech needs to be protected in America for EVERYONE not just the irrational SJWs pushing an agenda through intolerance, intimidation, hatred and violence. That will lead and IS LEADING to anarchy.

Perhaps instead of pursuing worthless degrees where liberal professors prognosticate about the evil nature of the United States and the virtue of communism or socialism, students should study more history to see examples of the cesspool nations become when following that path. In April 1970, Apollo 13 was on its way to the moon when a malfunction damaged the spacecraft and put three astronauts’ lives in danger. Experts in math, science, engineering, and physics at NASA worked tirelessly to enable the lunar module to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere through a window no bigger than a football field. They worked a problem never encountered before with men 238,900 miles from home. They succeeded and provided an example of what is possible. This is what our colleges should be teaching our young people.

As to calling them warriors, I have met, served with and mourned some of the most amazing, humble and real warriors this country has produced. Most of the posers calling themselves warriors these days don’t hold a candle to those individuals. I would advise any self-identifying social justice “warrior” to read any of the recent Medal of Honor citations to see what a real struggle, courage in the face of certain death and sacrifice of oneself for others actually looks like. Our country needs to see these distinctions and soon. If not, future history books will read that the once great United States of America was the world’s biggest failure in the experiment of individual liberty and freedom.
