My guess is that Obama will work out a nice subsidy for them before he leaves.
Wait until The Obama Channel makes it’s debut in 2017.
It’ll have more cable slots than ESPN.
Yep, because in business these failures are Negro first above all else.
Successful business is product or service first, at a fair price, and ya wouldn't necessarily know or care about the color of the proprietor.
Where the profit motive is subordinated to a political agenda, failure is assured and only government subsidies can keep such enterprises afloat. That’s the PBS model.
Out of curiosity, I’ve occasionally picked up one of their papers. It’s like reading about existence on another planet. It’s a Cargo Cult with a handful of terms recycled constantly: the struggle, equality, civil rights, affirmative action, diversity, the promised land, etc. etc. No state expenditure is too large and multigenerational cradle to grave dependency is regarded as a shining success tale.
Individuals placed in obvious do-nothing race hustle-protection jobs are treated like Andrew Carnegie despite the obvious, utter lack of utility inherent in such roles.
I questioned my cable provider as to why I am paying for BET network and have to pay extra for channels I do like when I clearly have no desire or have no commonalty with thier programming. Just ball breaking, I knew the only way they survive is being lumped in with all the other sad a## channels
PS I just clicked over to the story where the triptych of female black media figures appears. They are in horribly contrived poses meant, obviously, to convey deep thought, even saintliness. As always, I hesitate to share the highway doing 75 mph alongside people foolish enough to be taken in by such propaganda.
“Wait until The Obama Channel makes its debut in 2017.”
Where have you been? Dish network debuted the Obama channel in 2007. When I became aware of it, hidden amongst the shopping and infomercial channels, I called them. The phone minion quickly became defensive, stating: “We’re trying to save the planet!”. That was my last day with Dish Network.
No surprise.
Charlie Ergen, Dish owner, is a major Dem campaign funder.
I like the Golf Channel! I understand, it is frustrating having to subsidize MSNBC, CNN, etc. I may have to cut the cord completely.
I’d guess that there’s a decent chance NBC will hire Caliph Baraq as a golf channel commentator next season.
ESPN will offer him a job no questions asked.

re: If we dont own our press, we dont have a platform to speak, HAHAHA But the REST of us DO?
Yup. My first thought.
It'll need welfare...can't support itself.
A story which openly admits failure. But not framed that way by the NYSlimes.
