The EEOC walks into a major U.S. corporation where 99% of the employees are white males, and it looks like a clear violation until the HR director says: "Oh, not at all ... we are very diverse. 25% of those white males call themselves women, and another 25% call themselves homosexuals."
>I also have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of companies are jumping fully on board with these “protected class” designations that rely entirely on a person’s own self-identification. There’s no verification of it, so the employer can start to reduce their minority composition while bolstering the numbers of their protected groups.

The moment this becomes the norm I’m going to list myself as a gay trans/racial/gender black women who is Islamic-curious.
